That was Super Bowl XXIII, btw, when the 49ers beat the Bengals 20-16. I still remember the super slo mo shot of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! flapping in the air. Kind of a metaphor for the Bengals that year.

I had a discussion with the guys at work (25 and 30) about half time shows, and I was kidding that the first ones must have been just marching bands and puppet shows in the times before TV.

The 1989 Magic ian just told me how close I was.

I remember being very drunk that night. Went with my friend to his girlfriend’ s house. They went off and screwed all night, so I watched the game and drank. Then I threw up all over her kitchen floor. Good times.
